False Identities explores the emotions, angst, frustration, and yearning, in living behind a “false identity”. Written during the onset of her C-PTSD diagnosis, the albums 10 songs portray living in a traumatized state of mind. With her early influences of 90’s rock artists such as NIN, The Cranberries, Pearl Jam, and Sigur Ros, blended with her Christian Presbyterian upbringing, the album establishes The Rookery’s Indie-Rock genre.
