The Rookery’s debut album is here! False Identities is an indie pop-rock record which highlights the struggles of mental health, from the basis of living under a “false identity” of the self. Societal or self-induced stress “to be” something or someone can put us on a road filled with anxiety, heartbreak, unexpected loss, and little joy. When these things happen, we are left with no option but to overcome these challenges on our individual journeys, solely on our own. Once we overcome these challenges, then do we break away from a false identity we may have been trapped into.
